Morefield Campground Amphitheater Restoration

Mesa Verde Amphitheatre

Morefield Campground is the park’s only campground and its amphitheater has long been the center of educational programs for the campground and other park guests. The amphitheater is in need of restoration and repairs that include stabilizing rock work, resurfacing paved surfaces, upgraded electrical systems, restoration of seating and benches and revegetation around the seating area.

Funding Need: $430,000

Mesa Verde National Park Feature Film

Mesa Verde plans to create a new introductory, interpretive feature film that will bring content up-to-date and increase accessibility of the film to all visitors. A new film will improve the park’s accessibility for all park visitors by developing an interpretive movie with open captioning, assistive listening system in the historic Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum.

Funding Need: $500,000
