VISITOR EXPERIENCE

Mesa Verde National Park Feature Film

Mesa Verde plans to create a new introductory, interpretive feature film that will bring content up-to-date and increase accessibility of the film to all visitors. A new film will improve the park’s accessibility for all park visitors by developing an interpretive movie with open captioning, assistive listening system in the historic Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum.

Pre-production and production of Park film is being funded with the assistance of the State Historical Fund. Post-production funding is still needed.

Funding Need: $70,000

Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum Physical Accessibility

The Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum is accessible to all visitors with its multiple levels that are lacking ramps and easy transitions. The park has completed a study to identify physical accessibility options and is seeking funding to implement these improvements to the museum.

Project was generously funded by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
