THE MESA VERDE AREA

The Four Corners region is rich in the history of pioneers who traveled long distances eventually to settle in the area of Mesa Verde. They came from Siberia, Alaska, Mexico, and Spain. Other Europeans traveled to the western frontier to find land and fortune.
